Thanks for visiting THE DOG NANNY EDMONTON website (aka Paw Trotters) and for considering our Daycare and/or Overnight Boarding Services for your fur baby! We are a home based dog care business, with OVER SEVEN YEARS OF DOG BOARDING AND CARING EXPERIENCE!

We are LICENSED with the City of Edmonton and INSURED with PROfur. We do not kennel the dogs at all and they roam freely in my home during their stay with me. I have been boarding dogs in my home for the past seven years and am pretty much with them 24/7. It is my lifestyle by choice!

P.S. Same old owner, Gabby & her 13 yr old pupper Jasper, just a different name to reflect the real nature of her business and her character!)

Our RATES are as follows:

DAYCARE RATES (6-12 hrs) are:

$55.00/Day

OVERNIGHT BOARDING RATES:

$65.00/Day (Minimum 2 day charge)

(Returning Clients receive $5 off/day)

One Month stays are:

$1500.00 (small & medium dogs)

FOR NEW CLIENTS, I accept dogs 2 years and older and UNDER 50 pounds for safety handling reasons from here onward.

All new clients are asked to set up a Meet and Greet.

The Meet and Greet is free of charge and will give you and your pooch a chance to check out my place and yard and meet my dog Jasper (and any other dogs currently boarding with us). This will give us a chance to see if it's a good fit for everyone all around.

I take in a maximum of 5 dogs, along with Jasper (my 12 year old Bichon/Shitzu/ Retriever/Lab cross), making a pack of six at the most. However, during busy periods, due to overlap of start and end times/dates between dogs, there may be 6-7 for an overlapping day or two. (Thank you for your understanding)

All dogs will go for a daily adventure at an offleash dog park for 1-2 hrs to exercise, explore, run, play and socialize! They each wear a GPS tracker at the park to ensure their safety.

If a small group setting with freedom of movement (we do not kennel dogs) with lots of space to run, nap, play, socialize, explore and exercise, under the supervision of an experienced dog handler sounds like a great environment for your dog to spend their day(s), please do not hesitate to contact me via text @ 780-289-6199, to set up a Meet and Greet appointment. :)

The following are requirements to ensure that your pup is a good match for our open concept, free roam, fully supervised group/dog family environment.

WE DO REQUIRE THAT YOUR DOG(S):

1. Are not aggressive or reactive towards other dogs and owners walking past us, as well as, on leash coming to and from the park to the vehicle.

2. Not fearful or anxious reactive

3. Do not have a high prey drive

4. Have good recall

5. Do not bark excessively

Along with basic requirements for home boarding/daycare such as:

1. House trained

2. Know basic commands

3. Respectful of other dogs

4. Well socialized

5. Value human contact without being possessive or aggressive (so willing to share a human).
